WINERY ELFENHOF
The vineyard is located on softly to southeast inclined hillsides at the west bank of the „Neusiedler“ lake, protected from rough northwest winds – an optimum micro-climate and heat balance between day and night. The water surface reflects the first sunrays on the Ruster grape-vine in the early hours of the morning: higher sugar formation, finer development of high-grade sourness mushroom and therefore highest wine quality, these are the characteristics of the enchanting wines of the “Elfenhof”.
FAMILY BUSINESS since 1642
Since 1642 the vineyard Elfenhof is in the posession of the family. Our
family hold the tradition sacred, because for twelve generations here we handed the accumulated knowledge and many small secrets down to our children.
Rust is a paradise for the wine-growing:the layer, the grounds, the climate. This gives us the possibility to grow almost every grape variety. Therefore we can offer an especially wide range of wines to you.
SECRET OF ELFENHOF
To cultivate wine is like conduction a big orchestra: everything has to be
perfect and has to be concerted on each other.
Quite a lot of know-how, state-of-the-art technology, organic farming and
above all patience and love to the wine and the nature create the high
quality and “Elfenhof” wines of the first order. Because of our “direct
vineyard sale” we can offer it for unbeatable prices.
In the vineyard „Elfenhof“ not only wine is produced and sold, no – here will be followed a trade, wine-growing with a lot of knowledge, skills and love.
Here exists real experimental joy and the desire for trial and error. And with the freedom of research to take the best. This is wine-growing in perfection and wine consumption in completion.
